Minami Con is the longest running convention in the UK. It is held at the Novotel Hotel in Southampton, Hampshire and has been running for 17 years now. The event is spread across three days and every minute is crammed with entertainment options. As with all conventions many people attend in Cosplay. Although this event usually takes place in March when the UK weather isn't great this didn't stop anyone from having fun, and instead allowed for co-ordinating umbrellas.
