AmeCon is a three day long convention for Japanese Anime and Manga fans. AmeCon 2010 ran from Friday 13th of August until Sunday the 15th at Keele University, Staffordshire. The weekend consisted of workshops, panels, anime viewings, Japanese culture lessons, parties, karaoke, and games.

A Masquerade stage event was held showcasing cosplay of the attendees, this sometimes included performances such as dances, songs or re-enactments from shows.
